My son, Lincoln, is almost 3. If you have children, you can imagine how much each life accomplishes in their first few  years on earth - it's truly amazing. Not to mention, each child has their own unique way of growing and learning, which is one of the reasons our experience as parents can be so refreshingly different, yet very much the same.
Yesterday, my sister came over and had the brilliant idea of documenting all the special things that happen in our home, primarily with Lincoln...and any future children to come. I'm surprised I haven't started this sooner, as I am a writer at heart, and deeply enjoy documenting in all of its forms. With that said, I took her advice and am going to try my hardest to keep on track.
Currently we are all recovering from Christmas, and among all of his amazing gifts, Lincoln has taken to singing and "playing" his guitar right along with his "Let's Rock, Elmo." It's actually quite funny because he belts everything out at the top of his lungs. I'm hoping that my little man takes after his mommy and is a musician at heart ;)
